Because the supermarket chain is beloved for its deals on produce, meat, and frozen goods, many shoppers may not realize Aldi has even more to offer.

Each store has a single aisle of non-grocery merchandise that can be off-putting because of its eclectic nature.

This is why superfans refer to it as the aisle of shame.

According to Aldi, the section is a "rotating assortment of specialty items available for a very limited time."

Many of the items are seasonal, such as a garden hammock or lawn chair.

While the products are ever-changing, the prices are usually shockingly low.

One fan Caitlyn Pratt, who lives in Oklahoma, said she drives over 45 minutes to Arkansas just to visit the aisle of shame.

She even jokingly called it the "aisle of s**t" because it's filled with unnecessary items.

"I probably spend like $150 at Aldi every time that I go there," she told CNN.

"I get so much s**t for $150. Half of which are not groceries."

Pratt said that she's purchased patio sets, lanterns, candles, cookware, outdoor rugs, pillows, and pet beds all in the aisle of shame.

"When my friends come to my house they don't even ask me anymore where I've got some new things," she said.

"They know it's Aldi."

Aldi shoppers have created an aisle of shame community on Facebook where they share their best purchases.

The page has 2.7 million followers and includes advice on where to shop and whether an item is worth the handful of dollars.

Aldi hasn't explained how they source the products but emphasized the importance of finding the lowest price.

The supermarket said trend experts and buyers will take nine months or less to identify relevant items and purchase them before competitors.

Shoppers appreciate the curated experience of Aldi, and are happy to take the cheaper products without sifting through brands.

"When you go into a Walmart and you're looking for a can of green beans, you have 18 different options," Pratt told CNN.

"In Aldi, there's one, and maybe one other.

"I can get in and out and get exactly what I need without spending forever in there."
