MCDONALD'S newest sandwiches feature a spicy Cajun sauce that was an instant hit with fans.
Starting April 22, McDonald's diners can get the Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy and the Deluxe version at participating locations nationwide.
"It's the spiced-up touch the OG McCrispy didn't even know it needed," McDonald's says in a news release.
"The Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy is inspired by soul food flavors of the South, with a bold, creamy, and spicy Cajun ranch sauce."
The regular sandwich features southern-style fried chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, crinkle-cut pickles, and a creamy Cajun ranch sauce all on a toasted potato roll.
The deluxe version has the addition of shredded lettuce and Roma tomatoes.
But the sandwiches are only available while supplies last, so don't wait to try them.
McDonald's app users got to try the sandwiches early and had mixed feelings about it.
"The Cajun bacon ranch McCrispy might be the solution to all the world's problems," wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Other fans blasted the fast food restaurant, saying the new option was too similar to other McCrispy options.
McDonald's already offers regular, Deluxe, and Spicy sandwiches.
"So just a new sauce basically," a customer wrote in a thread on Reddit.

NEW BITES
McDonald's expanded with a spin-off restaurant called CosMc's last year.
There is currently only one location in Bolingbrook, Illinois, but the company announced it is opening two new restaurants.
The second and third locations opened in the Houston metro area in Texas.
One opened on April 2 in Watauga, and the other on April 8 in Arlington.

The drinks are customizable with options like boba, flavor syrups, and even vitamin C shots.

- Churro Cold Brew Frappe
- Island Pick-Me-Up Punch
McDonald's plans to open 10 CosMc's locations by the end of this year.
