A former news anchor and high ranking police official accused of a steamy affair with her boss is suing the city of Seattle for emotional distress. Jamie Tompkins claims city officials should have done more to clamp down on gossip about her relationship with Seattle Police Department (SPD) Chief Adrian Diaz. Both parties have denied any romantic relationship and Diaz even came out as gay after the rumors emerged.
