Christopher Eccleston has made no secret of his disdain for his 2005 collection of Doctor Who, beforehand branding it a 'mess'.
The actor, 60, has also spoken candidly about his mental health struggles, having been hospitalised with severe medical depression following a breakdown in 2016.
Now, Billie Piper, 41 – who starred as Rose Tyler in the BBC sci-fi collection – has shared that she knew Christopher was 'struggling' whereas they labored together.
