President Trump hinted that he's coming after The New York Times after suing legacy news outlets CBS and ABC. In a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform Wednesday, he said The Times' recent coverage of his ongoing lawsuit against CBS News, which the publication called 'baseless,' could open them up to legal liability. The Times reported Tuesday that CBS News' parent company, Paramount, is prepared to make a deal with Trump over his suit regarding the network's 60 Minutes interview with his opponent, Kamala Harris, prior to the 2024 election.
