A grief-stricken mother blames an evil pack of students for bullying her transgender child to the point of suicide. On May 17, 2023, Nova Dunn climbed over a chain link fence on the I-93 overpass and jumped to his death in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was 14. Nova had been struggling with his mental health since the pandemic, had gone to three mental institutions in three different New England states, and had recently come out as transgender, his mother, Melissa Dunn, told WMUR.
