Daniel Sturridge believes that Manchester City can only win the Premier League this season if Pep Guardiola is allowed to add to his squad in January. City have been the champions of England in each of the past four seasons but a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool on Sunday left Guardiola's men 11 points behind their opponents after 13 rounds of fixtures this term. The result was not a shock as it was City's sixth defeat in seven games across all competitions.
