AFL commentator Kane Cornes has slammed West Coast for failing to have a captain perform the coin toss in an awful display from the players in what proved to be Adam Simpson's final game before he was sacked as head coach on Tuesday. Cornes was typically blunt on Channel Nine's Footy Classified when discussing where it went wrong for the Eagles against the Demons in their 54-point defeat at the MCG.
