Kieran Reilly clinches BMX Freestyle Olympic silver with thrilling second run- as the cyclist adds Team GB's fifth medal of the day in Paris
Britain's Kieran Reilly claimed silver for Britain in the men's BMX Freestyle final at the Paris Olympics with a thrilling second run. The reigning world champion placed second after the opening run of the final at the Place de la Concorde. Reilly watched as France's home favourite Anthony Jeanjean pushed him down to third by scoring 93.76 in his second attempt. The Briton was assured of a medal ahead of his final run, but attempted to improve on the scores of leader Jose Torres Gil of Argentina and second placed Jeanjean.
