He shared: 'I really just fancied her. I did. I just fancied her.
'I didn't know what she was like as a person. I simply truly fancied her like most individuals did at that time, and I didn't know who I used to be marrying [or] who I was going to be with for the remainder of my life.'
The pair, who are mother and father to Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and 12-year-old Harper, are undoubtedly past 'simply fancying' one another now.
Victoria mirrored on the power of their relationship in a profile in W Magazine: 'No one stated marriage was going to be straightforward. Yes, there have been bumps alongside the street. But the reality is we've come out of the whole lot we've been by way of stronger and happier. It's even higher now than once we have been first married. In any case these years, we will just come residence and have amusing collectively.'
So, how did they get to that point?
David advised Corden that when he received to know Victoria, their marriage actually took off: 'I didn't realise what a robust lady she was, and that is what actually attracted me to her more than anything.'
He continued: 'I like a robust lady, and I like the truth that she works arduous. I like the fact that she's a terrific mum.'
